Conwy Valley Meats was formed in 1990 by business partners Steve Williams and Gren Jones. Their abattoir is situated in Llanrwst which is in the heart of the beautiful Conwy Valley. The company started by supplying local butchers with the highest quality Welsh Lamb and Beef.
Conwy Valley Meats supply Williams of Flint with PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) approved Welsh Lamb and Beef. For meat to be PGI rated, the animals must be:
Conwy Valley has lush pasture, ideal for raising top quality beef and lamb. All livestock is procured within 40 miles of the abattoir in Llanrwst, either from designated farms or local livestock auctions.
